Five hand-crafted vehicles, three beautiful hardwoods, one complete fleet. The Complete Wooden Vehicles Set brings together our Maple & Padauk Excavator, Padauk & Maple Trench Digger, Walnut & Maple Crane, Walnut & Padauk Aeroplane and Maple Digger — the first four carved from solid maple, padauk and walnut, the Maple Digger from solid maple and walnut, all with no paint, no plastic, and no plywood. What you see is the true grain and colour of the wood: creamy maple for strength, rich walnut for warmth, and naturally red padauk for a joyful pop of colour, all finished with Osmo Wood Wax Finish.
Every vehicle arrives fully assembled with its own Allen key, so children can move seamlessly between imaginative play and purposeful, Montessori-style work. Booms pivot, buckets scoop, the cutter wheel spins, the crane hook swings, and wingtips gently tilt — real mechanics that make cause and effect obvious and satisfying. Then, when curiosity calls, they pick up the Allen key and take the whole thing apart. Tighten, loosen, rebuild. Again and again.

Heirloom hardwoods, no plastic
Every piece is solid maple, walnut or padauk — natural colour, a natural oil-and-wax finish, and built to be passed down.
Everyday care. Wipe with a damp cloth and let the wood dry naturally. Please don’t soak it or put it in the dishwasher.
Where to keep it. Away from radiators and direct sun. Wood moves a little as the air grows drier or damper through the year, which is quite natural.
Refreshing the finish. When the wood begins to look dry, rub in one thin coat of Osmo Wood Wax Finish Extra Thin (1101), the finish we use ourselves, and let it dry fully before play. Once dry, it is food-safe. For babies who mouth their toys, ideally wait two weeks. Or let us make it easy: our Toy Care Kit has everything you need.
