At first glance, it appears simple: four curved wooden segments surrounding a central disc, all nestled within a solid oak base. But its asymmetric design offers a gentle test of focus and coordination — ideal for ages 1 to 3. Each quadrant is made from a different certified exotic hardwood: warm Tigerwood, vibrant Padauk, deep Purpleheart, and striped Zebrano. At the centre, an engraved oak circle anchors the puzzle in place — a nod to balance, calm, and belonging.
This is a puzzle designed to be felt. Children practise turning and rotating each piece, discovering subtle differences in shape and grain as they refine their motor skills and sense of spatial awareness. It’s a soothing, screen-free invitation to think, notice, and persist.

For example, our vibrant Purpleheart isn’t just a colour— we had to switch to diamond-tipped blades to be able to shape one of the world’s densest woods.
